【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesamethodforcharacterizingtheinfluenceonfireperformanceofitemsofbuildinghardwareforincorporationintohingedorpivotedverticallyinstalledfiredoorassemblies(havingeitheroneortwoleaves)orverticallyinstalledopenablewindowassemblies,ofknownfireresistanceofuptoandincluding240minutesintegrity(andwhererelevantinsulation)inaccordancewithEN1634-1.Itappliestothetestingofbuildinghardwareforuseonhingedandpivoteddoorsandopenablewindowswhichincludeframedglazeddoorsandwindows,butnotglassdoors.Itdoesnotincludeatestfordurabilityorotherperformancecharacteristics,whichshouldbeevaluatedaccordingtotheproductstandardfortheitemofbuildinghardwareorasgiveninEN14600.Themethodissuitableforcharacterizingbuildinghardwareforuseonnon-metallicdoororwindowassembliesconsistingofcellulosicmaterialsormineralboardsfacedwithcellulosicmaterials,hungineithercellulosic,mineralcoredormetalframes:orconventionalsteeldoorsmadefromsheetsteel,notmorethan1,5mmthick,hunginsteelframes(steeldoorsincludedoorsfilledwithmineralboardormineralfibrecoresbutnotsteelcladtimber/cellulosicdoors).Thesizeoftheseassembliescanbeuptothatgiveninthefieldofdirectapplicationforthedoorleafconstructionconcerned.Thismethodisnotdirectlyappropriateforevaluatingbuildinghardwareforuseonglassorglazeddoorswithdecorativeperimeterframing.TheappropriatenessofthismethodoftestcanbeestablishedbyreferencetotheflowchartgiveninAnnexA.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotconstituteafireresistancetestforaleaf,window,frame,intumescentseal,oranythingotherthantheselecteditemofbuildinghardware.TheuseofanyresultingfieldofdirectapplicationisrestrictedtoleafandframeconstructionswhichhavebeensuccessfullytestedtoEN1634-1.Themethodhasbeendevelopedprimarilytopermittheevaluationofbuildinghardwareforhingedorpivoteddoorassembliesandopenablewindows,butthemethodisalsosuitableforevaluatingsomeitemsofbuildinghardware,whicharenon-edgemounted,forusewithslidingdoorsandopenablewindows.
