【摘要】:Thepourpointofapetroleumproductisanindexofthelowesttemperatureofitsutilityforcertainapplications.Flowcharacteristics,likepourpoint,canbecriticalforthecorrectoperationoflubricatingsystems,fuelsystems,andpipelineoperations.Petroleumblendingoperationsrequireprecisemeasurementofthepourpoint.Testresultsfromthistestmethodcanbedeterminedateither1or3x00B0;Cintervals.ThistestmethodyieldsapourpointinaformatsimilartoTestMethodD97/IP15whenthe3x00B0;Cintervalresultsarereported.However,whenspecificationrequiresTestMethodD97/IP15,donotsubstitutethistestmethod.Note28212;SincesomeusersmaywishtoreporttheirresultsinaformatsimilartoTestMethodD97/IP15(in3x00B0;Cintervals),theprecisiondatawerederivedforthe3x00B0;Cintervals.ForstatementsonbiasrelativetoTestMethodD97/IP15,see13.3.1.ThistestmethodhasbetterrepeatabilityandreproducibilityrelativetoTestMethodD97/IP15asmeasuredinthe1998interlaboratorytestprogram(seeSection13).1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofpourpointofpetroleumproductsbyanautomaticapparatusthatappliesaslightlypositiveairpressureontothespecimensurfacewhilethespecimenisbeingcooled.1.2Thistestmethodisdesignedtocovertherangeoftemperaturesfrom-57to+51176;C;however,therangeoftemperaturesincludedinthe(1998)interlaboratorytestprogramonlycoveredthetemperaturerangefrom-51to11176;C.1.3Testresultsfromthistestmethodcanbedeterminedateither1or3176;Ctestingintervals.1.4Thistestmethodisnotintendedforusewithcrudeoils.Note1Theapplicabilityofthistestmethodonresidualfuelsampleshasnotbeenverified.Forfurtherinformationontheapplicability,referto13.4.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
