【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC11179restatesandelaboratesontheproceduresandtechniquesofISO/IEC11179-3:2003forregisteringclassificationschemesandclassifyingadministereditemsinanMDR.Alltypesofadministereditemscanbeclassified,includingobjectclasses,properties,representations,valuedomains,anddataelementconcepts,aswellasdataelementsthemselves.ThispartofISO/IEC11179developsasetofprinciples,methods,andproceduresforspecifyingwhatisneeded(ataminimum)todocumenttheassociationbetweenthevarioustypesofadministereditemsandoneormoreclassificationschemes.Thisincludesthenames,definitions,andotheraspectsoftheclassificationschemeanditscontents.Thesecanbecapturedthroughuseofasetofattributes.ParticularattributesarespecifiedinthispartofISO/IEC11179,alongwithastructureforthecontentsoftheseattributes.Usersmayextendthesetofattributesasnecessary.Additionalinformationmayaccompanyataxonomyorontology;forexample,toprovideasuggestedsetofqualifiersthatcouldbeappliedtotheobjectclass,property,orrepresentationtaxatomorefullyqualifytheclassificationoftheparticularadministereditem.ThispartofISO/IEC11179summarizesthebasicattributesandmodelspecifiedinISO/IEC11179-3:2003.AnexampleinthispartofISO/IEC11179showshowselectedcomponentsofdataelementscanbeassociatedwithaclassificationschemethroughtheattributesspecifiedinthispartofISO/IEC11179.Useofoneormoreclassificationschemesisintendedtoprovideasoundconceptualbasisforthedevelopmentofmetadatahavingenhancedsemanticpurityanddesignintegrity.ThispartofISO/IEC11179doesnotestablishaparticularclassificationschemeaspreeminent.Sanctionofaparticulartaxonomicapproachand/oraparticularepistemologyisalsobeyondthescopeofthispartofISO/IEC11179.Theseareaddressedbyotherstandardscommitteesand/ortendtobetailoredtoaparticulardomainofdiscourse.Thepoweroftheclassificationschemeandtheutilityofthecontentareappropriateareasforcompetition.Otherstandardscommitteesaredevelopingorhavedevelopednormativelanguagesforuseinclassificationand/orparticulartechniquesandstructuresthatcanbeaccommodatedbythisInternationalStandard.Forexample,theNationalInformationStandardsOrganization(NISO)hasdevelopedastandardfordevelopmentofathesaurus.Itisappropriateforeachclassificationstructuretobedocumentedastohowitwasdevelopedandhowitcanbeextendedandmaintained.Suchattributescouldbeadded,bytheprincipleofextensibility,totheattributesspecifiedinthispartofISO/IEC11179.Theyarenot,however,includedhere.EachRegistrationAuthority,asdescribedandspecifiedinISO/IEC11179-6,mayclassifyadministereditemsaccordingtotheclassificationschemes,structures,andcontentthatitdeemsappropriate.Indocumentingtheclassificationaspectsofadministereditems,theRegistrationAuthoritymayusetheprinciples,methods,procedures,andattributesspecifiedinthispartofISO/IEC11179.
