【摘要】:Itisexpectedthatthistestmethodwillbesuitableforthequantitativedeterminationoftotalcarboninwaterthathasbeenusedtoclean,extract,orsampleparts,components,materials,orsystemsrequiringahighdegreeofcleanliness,thatis,oxygensystems.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofresidualcontaminationinanaqueoussamplebytheuseofatotalcarbon(TC)analyzer.WhenusedinconjunctionwithPracticeG131andG136,thisproceduremaybeusedtodeterminethecleanlinessofsystems,components,andmaterialsrequiringahighlevelofcleanliness,suchasoxygensystems.Thisprocedureisapplicableforaqueous-basedcleaningandsamplingmethodsonly.1.2Thistestmethodisnotsuitablefortheevaluationofparticulatecontamination,orcontaminantsthatarenotsolubleinorthatdonotformanemulsionwithwater.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
