【摘要】:Thepurposeofthisguideistoensureproperspecificationandinstallationofthermallyandmechanicallyengineeredunitsofprefabricatedinsulationpanels.Thesepanelsaretobedesignedto:4.1.1Limitlossofheatfrominsulatedsurface.4.1.2Limitexposedsurfacetemperaturesforthermalprotectionofpersonnel.4.1.3Maintaintemperaturesoftheinsulatedequipmentatoraboveaspecifiedminimumvaluerequiredfortheproperoperationoftheequipment.4.1.4Produceanassemblythatprovidesallowanceforthermalexpansionandisofaweathertightconstruction.1.1Thisguidedescribesconstructionandinstallationofprefabricatedpanelinsulationsystemsforvessels,ducts,andequipmentoperatingattemperaturesaboveambient.Typicalapplicationsinclude,butarenotlimitedto,powerplantducts,steamgeneratingunits,precipitators,baghouses,fans,refinerystoragetanks,processvessels,andcokedrums.1.2Theinsulationdescribedhereinislimitedtosystemsconsistingofinsulatingunitsspeciallydesignedtofitthesurfacestobeinsulated,andengineeredfortheservicerequirements.1.3Eachinsulationunitisaprefabricatedconstructiontypicallycomprisedofinsulation,anouterlaggingtowhichtheinsulationisattached,aninnermetalmeshandfoillining,andmeansforsecuringmultipleunitstogetherinanassembly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;Whenprefabricatedpanelsystemsarespecified,TestMethodsC167,C177,andC1061,andTerminologyC168shouldbeconsidered.
